Three brothers, Kwai, Ky, and Ronayne Marsh-Brown, all footballers, are in Marsh-Brown. Ronayne, his elder brother, also serves for the Guyana national team.

Club career

In summer 2009, Marsh-Brown left the Fulham Academy to pursue professional careers. He was on the bench for several Fulham's key knock-out games, including those against Shakhtar Donetsk and Juventus, but he stayed on the bench on each occasion. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City were thought to make £500,000 bids for the player in November 2010. Marsh-Brown decided on a new deal in January 2011 in January 2011, extending his deal with the club until June 2013. He joined Milton Keynes Dons, a League One team, later this month on a one-month loan contract. His loan service was extended to the end of the season, impressing the Dons. He made his senior debut on February 2, 2011 at Bristol Rovers, turning Lewis Guy 68 minutes into a 2–1 win. In a 2–2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough three days later, he made his second appearance in his second start. He scored his first senior goal on February 12th, bringing the Dons a 1-1 draw at home to Brentford. Marsh-Brown signed a Dundee United loan until mid-January 2012, with the option to extend the contract until the 2011–12 season. Billy McKinlay, a former Fulham player, joined Lauri Dalla Valle at Dundee United, who have links with Fulham through their reserve team coach, former United Nations assistant Billy McKinlay. He returned to Fulham after only one appearance. Marsh-Brown left Fulham by mutual consent in November 2011.

Marsh-Brown signed Oldham Athletic's League One team on a two-week contract, with the option to extend for a further season. "I saw a lot of Keanu last season, and he seemed to be one of the best players in our division," Oldham boss Paul Dickov said. The boy has bags and bags of ability, as well as raw energy, and he's a signing who excites me because he's been following his career for a long time."

In a Football League Trophy match against Chesterfield, he made his club debut on the same day as a replacement. In a 1–1 draw against Colchester United on February 28, he scored his first goal for Oldham. In a 2–1 loss to Scunthorpe United on March 6, Marsh-Brown was given a red card for a two-footed tackle.

Marsh-Brown joined Yeovil Town in League One after being released from Oldham Athletic and signed a one-year deal on May 29th.

In Yeovil's 3–0 victory over Colchester United in the League Cup on August 14, 2012, he scored in Yeovil's 3–0 victory over Scunthorpe and the first goal against Scunthorpe in a 4–0 victory for Yeovil.

The club and Marsh-Brown decided to terminate his employment by mutual agreement on January 25, 2013.

Marsh-Brown joined Barnet on March 28, 2013 until the season's end. On his debut against AFC Wimbledon on April 1, 2013, he was crowned the winner. He signed with Barnet in June 2013 for the 2013–14 season. Marsh-Brown was transfer-listed to raise funds after 13 goals were set for the Bees from 2013 to 14. "I have explained this to Keanu, and he's going to play in League One and win games," manager Martin Allen said.

Marsh-Brown fell out of favour in the 2014–15 season, with Mauro Vilhete, Lee Cook, Luisma, and Adam Mekki all preferred by Martin Allen, with Mauro Vilhete, Lee Cook, Luisma, and Adam Mekki all preferring Marsh-Brown. The club's bids from Blackpool and Luton Town on transfer deadline day were turned down by the club, although the player's own had decided against a move to Forest Green Rovers. In the 2014–15 season, Marsh-Brown made just 11 appearances in all competitions. Unlike other players who had made fewer appearances, he was not given a league winner's medal at the end of the season. The Bees had the option to extend Marsh-Brown's deal in June 2015.

Marsh-Brown first appeared on trial in June 2015 and then signed a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. In a 1–0 away win over Altrincham on the first day of the 2015-16 season, he made his debut on the first day of the 2015–16 season.

He aided the club in the 2015-16 National League play-offs and scored the team's semi-final victory over Dover Athletic on May 7, 2016 that helped the club advance to the play-off final. In the full 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium on May 15, 2016, scoring with a long-range kick, but the club did not win promotion to the Football League in a 3–1 loss to Grimsby Town.

He appeared at Wembley Stadium with Forest Green again in the play-off final, earning the club's first-ever promotion to the Football League this season.

Forest Green also announced that Marsh-Brown will be one of the players not to be offered a new deal at the club at the end of the 2018–18 season.

In March 2018, Marsh-Brown joined Dover Athletic on loan from Forest Green. As Dover defeated Macclesfield Town by 2–0 on his debut at home against leaders Macclesfield Town. He scored twice on his debut on his debut. He was mostly used as a replacement for the remainder of the season, with just one more scheduled the following week at Barrow. On the final day away from Woking, he scored late, winning 2–1, relegating Woking but finishing outside the play-offs on goal difference.

Marsh-Brown joined Newport County on a two-year contract on June 22nd. In a 3-0 League Two loss to Mansfield Town on August 4, he made his Newport debut on August 4th. In the 3-1 League Two victory over Yeovil Town on March 30, 2019, he scored his first goal for Newport. On May 25, 2019, he was part of the squad that reached the League Two playoff final at Wembley Stadium. Newport lost 1-0 to Tranmere Rovers after a goal in the 119th minute.

He was fired from Newport by mutual consent on December 23, 2019.

Memphis 901 FC, the USL Championship team, announced his signature on January 17th.

Marsh-Brown joined the National League North team in Gloucester City on December 22, 2020.

Marsh-Brown joined Wrexham on a non-contract basis on April 10, 2021, one of three signings that day. Before the season, he made three appearances for the Welsh club. He was not offered a job, but he was invited back to pre-season training in the summer 2021.

In September 2021, Marsh-Brown joined Bahraini Premier League club East Riffa.

Marsh-Brown joined Malaysia's Premier League team Kuching City in February 2022.

International career

Marsh-Brown has 4 caps for England U16 and 11 caps for England U17. On September 10, 2013, he was called up to the England C squad for a friendly against a Latvia U-23 team, and the entire game was played, but England lost 11-0. He was capped six times between 2013 and 2016.

Marsh-Brown was called up to the Antigua and Barbuda squad for a preparation camp ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying, as well as younger brother Kyjuon.

He and his older brother Ronayne Marsh-Brown were called up to the Guyana squad in March 2019. He made his international debut for Guyana against Belize on March 23rd, 2019 and scored an assist for the second goal in the 2–1 victory.
