Robbie Brady Career

Club career

Brady, a born in Baldoyle, Dublin, attended Pobalscoil Neasáin and was a member of the All-Ireland Championship winning team. While playing for St. Kevin's Boys, he was discovered by Manchester United scouts and joined the club's academy right away after his 16th birthday in January 2008. On January 19, 2008, he made his first appearance for Manchester United in an under-18s match against Liverpool. In a 3–1 victory over Newcastle United, his reserve team made its debut just two months earlier.

Brady signed on as an academy scholar and cemented his place in the under-18s for the next two seasons as well as playing for the reserves in July 2008. Brady made the move to the reserve team on a permanent basis in the 2010-11 season. On October 26, 2010, he was named as an unused substitute for the first team's League Cup Fourth Round victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at home. He made his only appearance for Manchester United on September 26, 2012, when he was introduced as an 86th-minute replacement for Alexander Büttner in a 2–1 win over Newcastle United in the third round of the League Cup.

Brady was loaned by Manchester United to Hull City in the Championship league until December 31. In a 1–0 loss to Blackpool in his first match of the season, he made his debut in the KC Stadium on 5 August 2011. In a 1–0 victory over Reading at the KC Stadium three weeks later, he scored his first competitive goal for the Tigers. The loan was extended until the 2011–12 season began on January 5, 2012. Norwich appealed the red card seen to Brady, but it was rejected, essentially denying the Irishman's participation in the next three matches. He returned to the side after losing 1–0 by Southampton in the FA Cup on January 18, 2017 and scoring a penalty in the following league match, a 3–1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. In a 2–0 victory over Birmingham City on January 28, he made his final appearance for Norwich, delivering an assist for a Timm Klose goal just before halftime.
