Life and career
In Kramer vs. Kramer, Henry began his acting career. He was the youngest person to be nominated for an Oscar or Golden Globe for his role in the film. His next role was in an episode of the American television series Fantasy Island in 1983. Henry appeared in the Brat Pack film Sixteen Candles (1984), as Mike, one of Samantha's main characters. In the 1988 film Sweet Hearts Dance, Henry played the uncle of a married couple played by Don Johnson and Susan Sarandon. Henry's next well-known role after graduation was in 1997 as a medical student in a two-episode role during the fourth season of ER.
