Early life
Hinson was born in El Paso, Texas. She began acting in plays at the age of six. After moving to Los Angeles, California, Hinson appeared in numerous television commercials.
Career
In the Disney Channel Original Movie Go Figure, Hinson made her television debut in 2005, starring Katelin Kingsford as an aspiring professional figure skater. For the film, she had to learn how to ice skate, and she was taught by Olympic choreographer and two-time Emmy winners Sarah Kawahara. She appeared in the Glass House direct-to-video film The Good Mother opposite Angie Harmon.
