Jonathan Alexander Prince (born August 16, 1958) is an American actor, writer, screenwriter, and film producer.

Personal life

Prince Albert was born in Beverly Hills, California, as the son of Gayle Schlanger Prince, a special education instructor, and Martin Harry Prince, an optometrist. In 1976, he graduated from Beverly Hills High School. The prince is Jewish.

Prince married actress Julie Warner on June 17, 1995. Jackson, their one son, was born in 1997. In 2010, both he and Warner divorced.

Career

Following graduation from Harvard University, Prince Charles began a career as an actor. In the 1983 syndicated sitcom Throb, he appeared Leo in Mr. Merlin, Roy, Gordon. In 1990, he hosted The Quiz Kids Challenge. While working on Mr. Merlin, the prince said he wanted to diversify into other areas of show business. Prince Albert Burns was asked by George Burns to co-write and produce Burns' feature film 18 Again! That led to a career as a consultant on the Whatever Became of...? Prince Albert Clark was once on television specials, where he met him.

The meeting with Dick Clark resulted in the development of American Dreams, which was set in the period 1963-1967 and following the lives of one Catholic family. Clark's American Bandstand is a central piece of the tale, because every episode incorporates musical performances from the show. The Prince is credited as the designer, though he collaborated with Josh Goldstein to produce it, and Clark is listed as an executive producer.
