After a doctored video of his remarks broadcast online, the 78-year-old economics professor was accused of calling for the death of all Palestinians. In the viral video, Strauss said, "people are ignorant." The Hamamas are murderers.' That's all they are. Every one should be killed, and I hope they are all safe.' Strauss later admitted to stepping on a list of over names of civilians killed in Palestine, although denying that he did so intentionally.
