Early life
Feldmann grew up in Saratoga, California. He began writing songs around the age of 13 or 14. He first encountered the band Social Distortion and was inspired to be like them around that time.

Career
Feldmann's first band, Saratoga-based Family Crisis, was called Saratoga. He moved to Los Angeles in 1988, where he formed the band Electric Love Hogs and met future Goldfinger bassist Kelly LeMieux. The Electric Love Hogs, which also included Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver and Bobby Hewitt of Orgy, put out one album, their self-titled 1992 debut, which was co-produced by Tommy Lee.
Feldmann founded Goldfinger in Los Angeles in 1994 after meeting original Goldfinger bassist Simon Williams in a shoe store where they were both employed. Goldfinger appeared at 385 shows in 1996, breaking Guinness Book of World Records for the most concerts in a year for a touring band. In 1999, Goldfinger's song "Superman" was included in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game. Goldfinger has released eight studio albums, including Never Look Back, which was released on Big Noise on December 4, 2020, starting with their self-titled debut album in 1996.
Feldmann began producing for other bands in 1998, beginning with Showoff and releasing their self-titled debut album, followed by Mest and The Used. Story of the Year's 2003 debut album Page Avenue, which was rated Gold by the RIAA and debuted at number 51 on the Billboard 200, featured hits "Anthem of Our Dying Day" and "Until the Day I Die." He co-wrote Blink-182's 2016 album California, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The Fever 333 co-wrote and co-produced "Made An America," which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. He has also co-written and produced for All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, Good Charlotte, Panic! Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Papa Roach all appeared at the Disco, Beartooth, Biffy Clyro, Korn, 311. Feldmann's albums have gross more than 34 million dollars worldwide.
Feldmann has worked at Warner Bros. Records, recruiting talent, and overseeing artist growth, beginning in 1997. Feldmann is a former A&R consultant for Red Bull Records. He took over A&R at BMG as Vice President in 2016. Feldmann, alongside Jon Cohen and Nick Gross, created Big Noise in 2017.
