Born May 30, 1971), John Ross Bowie (born May 30, 1971) is an American actor and comedian best known for his appearances on Barry Kripke on The Big Bang Theory and Jimmy DiMeo on Speechless. What The Bleep Do We Know? Marlee Matlin is the child of a young Marlee Matlin, who appeared on Reno 911!, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee, and Good Luck Charlie.

In March 2011, he began a running in a series of Ford Motor Company commercials.Bowie is a regular sketch comedy performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCBT) in New York and Los Angeles.

He appeared on "The Naked Babies" sketch troupe, with comedians Rob Corddry, Seth Morris, and Brian Huskey at UCBT.

He appeared in Corddry's Children's Hospital, a recurring role.

Egghead, a former member of the New York punk band, collaborated with Big Bang Theory co-star Kevin Sussman to produce two television comedies, The Ever After Part and Rob's Second Coming of Rob, as well as a book on the cult movie Heathers.

Personal life

Bruce and Eileen Bowie, both deceased, were married (1942–2018). Jamie Denbo, a comedian, is married to actor Jamie Denbo. They have a daughter and a boy.

He graduated from the Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities in 1989 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ithaca College.
