Jerrod Lee Niemann (born July 24, 1979) is an American country music performer and songwriter.
Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury (2010), Free the Music (2012), and High Noon (2014) have all released one single for Category 5 Records, as well as his new single "God Made a Woman" for Curb Records.

Personal life
Niemann's tour bus caught fire on March 6, 2012. He was unharmed. Niemann praises fellow country musician Lee Brice for alerting him of the deadly fire.
In late 2013, Niemann proposed to longtime girlfriend Morgan Petek in New Orleans. On TLC TV show Yes to the Dress with Niemann's family to choose Petek's wedding dress, Niemann and Petek chose out Petek's wedding gown. They married in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on October 12, 2014. Niemann and Petek founded "Free the Music USA", a non-profit that provides musical equipment and instruction to children in need. They are also heavily involved in many animal rescue non-profits. Niemann is also affiliated with the United Service Organizations and went to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Romania, and Kosovo in 2016, his first overseas tour. After more than four years of marriage, Jerrod and Morgan divorced. The divorce was finalized on December 17, 2018.
Career
Niemann was born in Harper, Kansas, but he was raised in Liberal, Kansas. He was influenced by country acts such as Lefty Frizzell, Keith Whitley, and George Strait from an early age. He learned to play his first musical instrument on a Tracy Lawrence autographed guitar, which his mother won in a Lawrence contest.
Niemann attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, after graduating from Liberal High School. Niemann began his professional career by playing and playing acoustic guitar in Texas clubs and bars, including the Stockyard Saloon and the historic White Elephant Saloon, which are located in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Long Hard Road, his debut album, was released by him in 1999.
