Career
Hubert made her Broadway debut in 1981, in the cast of The First, a short-lived musical about Jackie Robinson, after appearing in Dancin's national tour. Hubert played Tantomile in the original Broadway production of Cats, as well as understudied Grizabella and Demeter. In April 1983, she left Cats to appear in Sophisticated Ladies, opposite Dee Dee Bridgewater and Gregg Burge.
