Jan Rabson (born June 14, 1954) is an American voice actor and comedian. Rabson was born in East Meadow, New York.

On thousands of televisions, films, television shows, and animated films and series, Jan's voice has been heard.

Jan was a member of Johnny Carson's "Mighty Carson Art Players" for many years, as well as providing the voices for answering machines, cash registers, and other inanimate objects for Johnny's sketches.

Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up or Slip Out! is one of Larry Laffer's most well-known roles. Leisure Suit Larry 6: Create the Voice or Die Out! Entertainment Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry.

Jan's voice can be heard in all of Pixar Toons shorts as well as Toy Story 3, Up, WALL-E, and others.

Stanley Gurd Jr. portrayed Tetsuo Shima from Akira in some of his anime dubbing and on-camera film, and he is best known for his voice under that name.

Horse from the preschool series Slim Pig is also the voice of the Horse. Rabson was the first contestant and champion on Blackout in 1988. For AfficionadosChris' review of Akira, he recently reprised his role as Tetsuo Shima.

Personal life and death

Rabson spent time in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada, as well as split work between Vancouver and Los Angeles productions. He died on October 14, 2022, at the age of 68.
