Robert Daymond Niles (born March 11, 1982) is an American voice actor best known for delivering voices for animations, Japanese anime, audiobooks, and video games.

Personal life

Megan Lynn Strand met Daymond while studying at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2004. They lived in Los Angeles, where they spent eight years in a on-and-off relationship before becoming engaged in 2017. They were married on April 7, 2019. Lynnyx Lola Ann Howard, their first child, was born on June 7, 2018. Rohan Eldon Howard, the couple's second child, was born on January 9, 2021.

Career

Daymond left Los Angeles in 2007 to work with New York Film Company and Quixote Films. Shock & Awesome Audio is also a voice-over business founded by Tom Hungry. He began doing more voice-over work in 2010 and by 2011, he was full time in voice acting for cartoons, anime, and video games.

Daymond appeared in various cartoons: Blake Myers of Nickelodeon's Get Blake! and Marvel's Spider-Man's title character first appeared in Disney XD in 2017.

Daymond's appearances in anime and video games included: In the Viz Media re-dub of Sailor Moon, Mumen Rider in One-Punch Man, Hubert von Vestra's Three Houses, Somega 5, Loth Burns in Persona 5, Rob Huntington, Giovello in Persona 5, Alan Bruton's Adventures of Heroes, Joe Kido in Digimon Adventure III and IV, Joe Kido. In Final Fantasy XV, Smokey Brown of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Chrollo Lucilfer in Hunter x Hunter, Kayn in League of Legends, as well as The Seven Deadly Sins, and Godzilla: The Planet Eater, all the Monsters.

Daymond appeared on Exandria Unlimited, a spinoff limited series of the web series Critical Role from June to August 2021. An air genasi bard named Dorian Storm appeared on Dorian Storm. For many episodes of Critical Role's third campaign, he continued to appear on Dorian for many episodes. In March 2022, he reprised his role in Exandria Unlimited: Kymal, a two-part special. Daymond is also one of the narrators of the audiobook version of the book Critical Role: Vox Machina (2021).
