At the age of 14, she contracted viral meningitis and told the world that it "changed her life forever." "I no longer take my health for granted," she said. The couple's divorce was finalized on October 12, 2017, along with an agreed decrease of their estimated £5.5 billion joint fortune, and she reverted to her maiden name. "I showed her multiple homes, but they weren't grand enough," the real estate broker Rick Hilton said. Ecclestone resold The Manor in 2014 at a price tag of $150 million. However, she is alleged to have turned down an offer that did not match her price in December 2015. In October 2016, the Manor was relisted for auction at a cost of $200 million. The owner of a centuries-old British socialite is a bankrupt British socialite

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 22, 2024
A judge has ruled that a bankrupt British socialite is the owner of a centuries-old portrait entangled in a High Court court dispute. The Geoffrey Stunt family, James Stunt, and his father, Geoffrey Stunt, were embroiled in a legal dispute over James' bankruptcy over Sir Anthony Van Dyck's painting, The Chee Sisters, between the two brothers. Barristers for the trustees said James Stunt owned the portrait at a court in London earlier in March, but barristers for the trustees insisted that Geoffrey bought the work in 2013 for £600,000. In a decision released on Friday, Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Clive Jones dismissed the Stunts' allegations by finding that the painting should be regarded as belonging to James Stunt for the purposes of his bankruptcy. Mr James Stunt was the contracting purchaser,' he said, 'in my balance of probabilities.'

Today, bankrupt socialite Stunt said he did not buy the centuries-old portrait, but only recommended his father did. Stunt, who lived with F1 heiress Ecclestone from 2011 to 2017, is fighting a court dispute with his bankruptcy trustees over Sir Anthony Van Dyck's painting The Chee Sisters. The trustees claim James owns it, but Geoffrey Stunt and his brother allege that the older man purchased the work in 2013 for £600,000. At a trial at Rolls Building in London today, James, who declared bankrupt in June 2019, informed a court that he was involved in the painting when it was seen in 2012 but decided against it.

Stunt allegedly bought the oil painting in 2013 for £600,00, according to his creditors. However, after he announced bankruptcy in June 2019, Geoffrey's father argued he was the correct owner as the photograph was paid for with a cheque drawn from his bank account, according to the High Court. In a black taxi accompanied by a glamorous lady, James Stunt appeared in court. The former bullion dealer did not make a single comment as he entered the building wearing a navy pinstriped, three-piece suit, white shirt, and a navy and white stripe tie.
