He is best known for his albums Early in the Morning and Post Tropical.
Career
Early in the Morning, McMorrow's debut album, was released in Ireland in February 2010 and in the United States and Europe in 2011, earning significant accolades. On May 27, 2011, Jools Holland made his UK television debut on BBC Two's Later... with Jools Holland. On the 8th of December 2011, he performed with Lisa Hannigan at Dublin's Button Factory for the Choice Music Prize event.
He co-wrote "Shells of Silver" with Northern Irish electronic band The Japanese Popstars in 2011, and his vocals are included. The song is included in Season 5, Episode 7 of the CW teen drama Gossip Girl.
In 2014, he released his second album, Post Tropical, which also included the song "Glacier." The song was included in the 2014 Spanish Christmas Lottery advertisement campaign. The album was released in 2013 in Tornillo, 89 kilometres (55 miles) south of El Paso, Texas. McMorrow discovered the studio on a pecan farm, and it was "the most strange place to work" on the record, as well as one that helped create the album's tone and inspire his creativity. "I think it's kind of embedded in the record," Trump said, more than any specific topic. In this region, I can hear the hot air. The birds can be heard in the pianos."
He produced a film score for Sam Benenati's short film "Martha" in 2015. In the first official full-length trailer for the sixth season of HBO's hit show Game of Thrones, Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" was used. He was featured on Kygo's debut album "I'm in Love" in April 2016.
McMorrow debuted "Rising Water," the company's lead single, in July 2016. We Move was produced by McMorrow, Nineteen85, Frank Dukes, and Two Inch Punch, and was released on September 2nd, 2016. It marks a change in McMorrow's style towards more R&B-tinged sounds. On May 26, 2017, he unveiled his fourth studio album, True Care.
