Would you pay £3 million for a flat in the country's most wealthy neighborhood for the elderly?

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 16, 2024
According to charity Age UK, the cost of care in the United Kingdom is on the rise, with a place in a care home costing around £800 a week on average, and a nursing home £1,078. According to estate agent Savills, downsizers in England and Wales can move from a four-bed to a two-bed house on average. However, nearly 1.3 million homeowners aged 65 and over remain in four-bedroom homes, as the cost of stamp duty and the lack of appropriate retirement homes discourages them from moving. The concept of retirement communities is lagging behind in this country.
