Heiner Mora Mora (born 20 June 1984) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays for A.D. Municipal Pérez Zeledón as a wingback.

Heiner Mora Career

Club career

Heiner Mora began his work with Santos de Guápiles. He was a regular starter for the club until he was transferred to Brujas in 2007. Mora, a young man who had barely been employed by Brujas, moved to CF Universidad de Costa Rica and recaptured his former glory. He returned to Brujas in 2009 and became a right starter for the club. He rejoined Santos de Guápiles in the following season, and his form attracted top Costa Rican side Saprissa, who borrowed Mora on loan in early 2011. He is expected to join the Seattle Sounders FC, according to rumors.

Mora has been playing for Norwegian side Hnefoss since 2012. Due to several causes, including an inhospitable climate, language barriers, loosening of visa policies, and being estranged from his family, he has stated that he will leave and return to Costa Rica on May 31, even though it means quitting professional soccer.

Mora decided to play in the Costa Rican Primera División in August 2013. He returned to Saprissa in summer 2014.

Mora joined Segunda División de Costa Rica club C.D. after a spell at Pérez Zeledón, C.D. Barrio México will celebrate its independence in July 2020.

International career

Mora has been playing for Costa Rica since 2010. He appeared in all three Costa Rica matches in the 2011 Copa América and represented the 2011 Gold Cup. Mora missed the 2014 World Cup due to injury and was replaced by David Myrie.
