Career
Clara del Valle, Gummer's debut (billed as Jane Grey) in the 1993 film The House of the Spirits as the younger version of her mother's character. Since graduating college, she had her next professional acting role; in 2008, she appeared Off-Broadway in Lukas Bärfuss's The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents. She was initially hired to assist with the play's costume design but she ended up auditioning and being cast in its lead role.
