Giovanni Velluti (born January 20, 1969) is an Italian pianist and pupil of Rodolfo Caporali and Aldo Mantia. He inherited such rules that derive directly from Chopin's pianistic academy (who were students of A. Rendano e W. De Pachmann, respectively). He is at his best in repertoire of the Romantic period, including Liszt and Chopin's, as well as Moszkowski, Carl Tausig, Henselt, Grainger, Schulz-Evler, and other less often executed fin du siècle virtuoso works.
Giovanni Velluti has had a distinguished international career as a chamber player and accompanist alike. Velluti has appeared in some of Italy's most prestigious concert halls and abroad, including Daniela Barcellona, Andrea Bocelli, Gianfranco Cecchele, Kristian Johansson, Marco Lepore, and Marco Vinco. He has been accompanist of Katia Ricciarelli since 1993.
