Rosalba Géraldine Bazán Ortíz (born 30 January 1983) is a Mexican actress, singer, and anchorwoman currently living in Miami.

She's part of Women Fair, Amigos For Kids activities, Latin Book Festivals, in Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, In her spare time Geraldine likes to support causes such as the Televisa and TV Azteca Foundations, Movimiento Azteca, Telethon in Mexico, Panama, and Guatemala.

She supports U.S. social and charity organizations and foundations in the areas of the homeless, discrimination, cancer, the Special Olympics, AIDS, and Celebrity Run 5k.

Personal life

She has two daughters with actor Gabriel Soto. There were rumours that Gabriel Soto cheated on Geraldine Bazán.

While on holiday in Acapulco, Mexico, Bazán narrowly escaped serious injury when she slipped off a rock face before ending up in the sea.

Career

Bazán has been working in entertainment since childhood, in vocal and choreographic companies, modelling, radio, telenovelas, theater, film, and television in Mexico. Bazan has appeared in 17 telenovelas.

Corazon Salvaje, Buscaje del Paragua, Maria la del Barrio, Preciosa, Traviesa, Camila for Televisa, Catalina Y Sebastian, Ellas Inocentes o Culpables, Como en el Cine, Dos Chicos de Cuidado, etc. were among her early projects.

Towards the end of 2004, she travelled to Miami to film telenovela Sonar no Cuesta Nada, produced by Venevision-Univision. She appeared in eight films in Mexico and nine theater plays, including Univision's Love Doesn't Have a Price El Amor No Tiene Precio. She has also appeared on children's radio stations. The actress appeared in Tierra de Pasiones (Land of Passions) from NBC Telemundo in 2006. In the 2007 teen telenovela Under the Reins of Love Bajo las Riendas del Amor from Televisa Miami Studios, she appeared as a villain. All three telenovelas were broadcast in the United States, Mexico, Latin America, and Europe.

Veronica Orozco appeared in Bajo Las Riendas del Amor, a Televisa product brought to you by Univision, in Bajo Las Riendas del Amor. She appeared on Network Tres' telenovela Sonar no Cuesta Nada broadcast. In 2010, Géraldine Bazán is filming 2 telenovelas Sacrificio de Mujer and Almundo te Mira to Univision and Telemundo.

Victoria is the actress who appeared in a telenovela shot in Bogotá, Colombia, starring Victoria Ruffo, Arturo Peniche, and Mauricio Ochmann. Victoria is a remake of Mirada de Mujer, a Colombian telenovela about a woman who falls in love with a squeeling younger man after her marriage is shattered around her. Her wealthy husband abandons her for her misdeed, and their children blame her for the breakup. (This story was a remake of the Mexican telenovela Mirada de Mujer, The Gaze of a Woman, which in turn was a retelling of Seora Isabel, a Colombian telenovela.) Her role with Sacrificio de Mujer (Woman Sacrifice) continued in 2010 with Channel Venevision - Univision in Miami.
