Personal life
She was married for 8 months to Bill Holefelder in 2003. In 2004, he died of melanoma. In 2006, Soto married American actor Jack Hartnett. On her Twitter account, she announced her divorce on November 17, 2011.
Career
Soto appeared in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza México in 1997, representing her home state of Nuevo León. Soto won Miss Mexico World and represented her country in the international beauty competition Vina Del Mar in Chile in the same year.
Soto's first appearance as an actor was in the short film La Vida Blanca, which she co-produced with then-husband Jack Hartnett, who wrote and directed as well.
