Floor Jansen (Dutch: [flor ns]; born 21 February 1981) is a Dutch singer and songwriter. She is the lead vocalist of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish.
Jansen first emerged as a member of the symphonic metal band After Forever, appearing as their lead vocalist from 1997, until her disbanding in 2009. Revamp is the artist who released two albums with them after Forever disbanded. Nightwish welcomed Jansen as a touring participant until the end of their Imaginaerum World Tour in 2012. Jansen announced in 2013 that she was now their full-time lead vocalist; she later disbanded ReVamp to concentrate on Nightwish. Jrn Viggo Lofstad, a hard rock duo Northward, premiered her in 2018.
Jansen, a frequent collaborator of Arjen Anthony Lucassen's progressive metal supergroup Star One, and his Ayreon album Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer, 01011001-2011, as well as the live album Ayreon Universe – The Best of Ayreon Live, is a video of Ayreon Live.
