Tobias Forge Life

Tobias Forge (Swedish pronunciation: [tbas ffr]; born 3 March 1981) is a Swedish singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He is the founder and primary songwriter of the masked rock band Ghost, who appear on stage as their vocalist under the stage names Papa Emeritus and Cardinal Copia. Despite the fact that the band was formed in 2006, Forge's identity as the Ghost frontman was only revealed in 2017 after a lawsuit by former band members due to a royal controversy. He was in many other bands, including Repugnant and Crashd, under the stage name Mary Goore, prior to his fame.

Forge was coveted the 2019 Platinagitarren award from STIM, who said, "With one foot on the ground, he is a composer pushing the boundaries of the genre." Forge is one of Sweden's most "most visionary and artistic in Swedish music history," according to Jury member and journalist Jan Gradvall. Loudwire named Forge the Metal Artist of the Decade in honor of "Ghost's meteoric rise from underground doom favorites to an arena phenomenon" in the 2010s.

Personal life

Forge is married to Boel Maria Forge, and he is the father of fraternal twins Morris and Minou. On Prelude's first track, his daughter performs "Ashes." Sebastian, his brother, who was thirteen years old, had a huge influence on Tobias and introduced him to film and music, including Siouxsie and the Banshees, Kim Wilde, Rainbow, Kiss, and Mötley Crüe at a young age. Sebastian died of heart disease on March 12, 2010, the same day Ghost released their first demo songs online. Sebastian was also a published author.

As an adolescent, Forge said he "unquestionably [threw] [his] hands into Satan's hands. He cited a stringent stepmother, the alienation he felt at home, and a stricter religious schoolteacher for compelled him to "step first into the arms of the devil."
