Early life
Erica was born in Mumbai to Ralph Fernandes and Lavina Fernandes, as part of a Konkani Mangalorean Catholic family. She obtained her Pre-Degree Certificate from Sies College Of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sion, and completed her high schooling from Holy Cross High School, Kurla. She had applied for a Bachelor's degree from St Andrew's College, Bandra. Later in life, she decided to pursue a career in modelling.
Career
She always aspired to be a model from childhood, earning her the title of "Bombay Times Fresh Face," "Pantaloons Femina 2011," and "Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra" in 2010 and 2011.
When he was shooting for Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, director Sasi had seen photos of her at Meera Kathiravan's office, with whom she was filming another film. In the film alongside Bharath, Sasi played a software engineer. Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu's first film was delayed due to the delay in her other films. In 2014, she made her debut in Kannada with the film Ninnindale, starring Puneeth Rajkumar, which was followed by Nila Madhab Panda's debut Hindi film Babloo Happy Hai.
