According to a study conducted by Baroness Casey last year, there were more than 20 'near-misses' that may have resulted in significant injury or death due to the commotion surrounding the match between England and Italy on July 11, 2021. Wembley National Stadium Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the FA, submitted an application to Brent Council last week.
