Emmanuel Lewis (born March 9, 1971) is an American actor best known for his role in the 1980s television sitcom Webster's title role.

Personal life

Lewis was born in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Midwood High School in 1989. In 1997, Clark Atlanta University granted him a bachelor's degree. He will only attend the fall semester to continue his work in the winter, spring, and summer.

Lewis is a taekwondo expert. Since his youth appearances in Webster, his height has only increased by 6 inches (15 cm), making him a little short. His height is unknowable. He is also a Freemason.

Lewis is a three-time winner of the People's Choice Award and twice received a Clio Award.

Career

Lewis was nominated for four Young Artist Awards for his appearance on the television show Webster. In 1984, he was nominated for Best Young Actor in a Comedy Series for Webster, but he lost to Silver Spoons' Rick Schroder. He was nominated for the same award in 1985, but It's Not Easy was Billy Jayne of It's Not Easy. He was nominated for Best Young Actor Starring in a Television Series in 1986, but Marc Price was defeated by him for his role in Family Ties. In 1987, he was nominated for Outstanding Achievement by a Young Actor in a Television Comedy or Drama Series, which Kirk Cameron of Growing Pains won.

Lewis was the child ambassador for the Burger King Whopper.

Lewis appeared on a television child stars episode of The Weakest Link in 2001. In the third round, he was disqualified.

He appeared in Kickin' It Old Skool 2007 and a 2013 episode of Between Two Ferns starring Zach Galifianakis.

He is a singer in Japan and has released two singles; his debut single, "City Connection," debuted at number two on the Oricon chart;
