Martin Compston of Line of Duty 'got to jump the Covid jab queue for co-star Emily Hampshire.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 15, 2023
After being lobbied by actor Martin Compston, Humza Yousaf 'used his position' as health secretary to assist a Canadian TV star in skipping the queue for a Covid vaccine, it was reported yesterday. Mr Yousaf, a SNP supporter, called Compston, asking for a 'advice' on how to obtain a vaccination for co-star Emily Hampshire. The now First Minister forwarded the email to his private office, and it eventually made its way to NHS Lothian through Scottish Government officials. The health board approved the actress' appointment. Mr Yousaf is now facing allegations that he was 'intervened in the process' of seeking an appointment during his time as health minister. Compston received the email when he was in Edinburgh filming the Rig with Ms Hampshire in 2021. It started: 'Hey mate, I hope you're doing well.'
