During his youth, Lombardo began to take an interest in punk rock, being an excellent listener of Linkin Park and hip-hop, which led him to his own rap battles in Argentina.

He began practicing freestyle with his closest friends, which gave him the confidence to participate in battle competitions after being inspired by long-time Argentine rappers Kodigo and Tata. He dropped high school due to his low marks, which was part of his poor grades.

Duki Career

Career

In 2013, Duki won his first rap contest, which made him the victorious. Years later, he referred to it as "catastrophic, it was raining, but we ended up winning." During this time, he formed Atuanornos Tripulación, a rap crew, and appeared in a number of famous underground rap competitions, such as Las Vegas Freestyle or Madero Free.

He appeared in "El Quinto Escalón" for the first time in Buenos Aires' parque Rivadavia, a very centralized park. This helped the competition grow to a large audience, such as Paulo Londra, Lit Killah, or Trueno. Duki became one of the most admired and respected MC's due to his availability and solid staging. He won it for the first time in 2016, defeating rapper Nacho in the final. A session in a recording studio turned into a single. "No Vendo Trap" was Duki's first album, and it was his first single, which was released in November 2016. The official video was released on YouTube and received two million views in just two weeks. The sample's creator, Pa$ha, decided to strike the video for copyright, despite its popularity, and the website took it down. This did not stop Duki from releasing more singles that helped him to build a huge fan base, mainly from his battle days.

In late 2016, and early 2017, Duki continued to play in El Quinto Escalon, one of Argentina's most coveted tournaments. Several of Duki's battles, as well as his partner MKS, gained a following on YouTube, with some of them becoming the most watched battles in Spanish history. Duki was signed to MUEVA Records, and he and producer Omar Varela's "She Don't Give a FO" and "Hello Cotto" became the first two singles to launch his music career, thanks to his growing fame. ProMUSICAE of Spain awarded gold for the first time, and both singles and couples on YouTube had 100 million views, establishing Duki as one of Argentina's most popular trap artists. He appeared in Khea's single "Loca," starring rappers Cazzu and Bad Bunny, ranked 45 in the Hot Latin Songs chart and went gold by the RIAA two weeks later.

During 2018, Duki formed a trap trio with YSY A, the host of El Quinto Escalón, and Neo Pistea, Argentina's new promising trap artist Neo Pistea. The trio's "Quavo" and "TRAP.N.EXPORT" were released on YouTube, gaining a lot of views on the website. They appeared in the Grand Rex theater, which was sold out in March. At the Premios Gardel awards in May, Duki performed his single "Rockstar" with a live orchestra, a performance that received a scathing reception, with artist Charly Garcia saying "autotune should be barred" during his acceptance address. However, Duki did not bother Garcia's scolding, saying that "he could say I'm a scumbag and I'd be content." I adore him, and I attended one of his concerts as a youth. I respect him so much that I didn't even respond to him."

Duki continued to produce singles throughout the year, gaining more attention. "Si Te Sent's Sola" and "Hijo de la Noche" were two of Argentina's top ten hits. However, Duki began having anxiety attacks and developed a heroin use during his stay in a Modo Diablo home called "The Mansion." Duki decided to leave the house and was aided by his family to recover. Lombardo refused to sign with Sony and Universal at the end of the year and was a member of the Red Bull Batalla de Gallos competition, held in Argentina and won by fellow rapper Wos. He was also the front page of Argentina's Rolling Stone magazine. He released "Sin Culpa" with singer DrefQuila in December 2018, the highest position reached by Lombardo.

Modo Diablo sank during the summer of 2019, owing to the artists' desire to launch solo careers. Duki appeared at Buenos Aires Trap, Argentina's first Argentine trap festival, which featured performances by Bad Bunny, Cazzu, and Khea. Duki appeared in March as part of the Neo Pistea's remix album "Tumbando El Club," which reached number 3 in Argentina Hot 100. In June, he produced the official soundtrack to the third season of El Marginal, as well as artist Vicentico.

Duki's single "Goteo," which landed at number 10 in the Argentine Hot 100 on August 6, remained for three months in the chart. It also ranked in Spain's top ten, with Duki performing and selling out every show. The tour video became part of "Goteo"'s official film. This song will debut on Duki's debut studio album, Super Sangre Joven, with others including "Hitboy" (with Khea), "Te Traje Flores"), and "A Punta de Espada" making it to the Argentina Hot 100 chart. The album featured guests from Khea, C. Tangana, Alemán, YSY A, Marcianos Crew, Eladio Carrión, and Sfera Ebbasta, as well as others praising Duki's versatility (the album included segments such as tango, R&B, and rock) but some condemned the album's forced composition.

Duki traveled around the United States in September, with two shows in Wisconsin and New York, which had a "poor show," Duki said. "I did poorly, no one knew me, and I was feeling depressed," he said. On stage, I insulted my crew"'s crew. Duki knew he wanted to develop his career, so he recruited family friends to form a team. Super Sangre Joven, he also created his own record label. During the year of 2019, Duki was one of three of Argentina's top listened songs by Billboard. He returned to Buenos Aires Trap in November and was insinuated at removing from music on his Twitter account, criticizing the music industry.

In 2020, Duki said he will concentrate on producing more original songs rather than singles. He appeared on Bad Bunny's album "Hablamos Maana" from the beginning of the year, winning a prize for Best Urban Fusion/Performance in the 21st Latin Grammys. To celebrate his birthday, he released "24" on June 24th, which featured eight songs and celebrated Juicy J's superb appearance on R.I.A.'s appearance. During October, Duki recorded "Fideos con Duko," in which Duki interviewed many artists from Argentina and his mother as a special for Mother's Day in Argentina. During late 2020 Duki's visit to the United States to begin recording his next album, which is scheduled to be released in April 2021.

"Muero de Fiesta Este Finde," Duki's first single from his forthcoming album, starring Ca7riel, was released in January 2021. Duki announced on Twitter on February 15th that the album would have 18 songs. He appeared in Rusherking and Tiago PZK's single "Además de Mi," which peaked at number one on Argentina's Hot 100 chart on March 4th. "Chico Estrella," Duki's second and lead single from his new album, debuted in 16 March and debuted on the Argentina Hot 100 at number 31. Duki appeared on Khea's single "Wacha" on the Argentina Hot 100 for the third time, marking the third time the pair has topped the charts. Duki appeared on YouTube for a string of collaborations with the NBA this month.

Desde el fin del Mundo was born on April 22nd and was manufactured in the most part by Asan and Yesan. The album featured a long list of South American artists, with Duki stating that the aim of the album was to display the artistry from the region's region. The album also experiments with electro dance, drill, and punk rock. It was more well-received than its predecessor, with critics lauding Duki's growth and versatility, but there were others who didn't have songs that were a bit out of place. The album debuted at number three on Spotify's Global Album Debuts chart, ranked third. Duki released a concept album with photos of the album's 18 songs on YouTube, in which Duki can be seen dancing and singing the album's songs in a room with all the collaborators. In the Argentina Hot 100 chart, the tracks "Malbec," "Cascada," and "Pintao" have been included. He held a show in El Calafate in May, with the Perpetto Moreno Glacier as a backdrop.

He announced that he would perform reggaeton music on his album "desde el mundo." "temporada de reggaeton" is a series of songs by him. "temporada de reggaeton" debuted on its website in 2021 and climbed to the top of the Top 10 Global Album Debuts of Spotify.

On July 20th, 2022, he returned to trap music with the debut of his long-awaited single "Givenchy," where he also announced his new project "Temporada de diablos."
