But now, Jill and Derick seemed to have put their differences with her dad aside to come together for the burial service of their stillborn daughter last week.

The 32-year-old reality television personality and her 35-year-old husband were planning on welcoming a daughter into their family, although the child was stillborn. Jill - who recently opened up about her strict fundamentalist Christian upbringing - and her spouse went on to pen an emotional message to confirm the news to the public.

The mother of three discovered her large family had a 'buddy' system that had her assigning a younger sibling to look after, but she was not given the responsibility until six years old. 'No one fell through the cracks,' the 19 Kids And Counting star explained. "There was always someone ensuring that this one had lunch, and this one's diaper was changed." Another rule that she spoke about was a'six-inch rule,' which meant they had to have six inches of space between them and a person of the opposite sex at all times until they were married.
