Gene Simmons, the son of musician Gene Simmons, is best known for his role in the A&E reality television series Gene Simmons Family Jewels from 2006 to 2012.

Incarnate, a limited comic book collection that was published by Radical Comics in 2009, was written and created by him.

Simmons served as a writer for The Huffington Post in 2017.

Personal life

Simmons is the son of Israeli-born musician Gene Simmons of the rock band Kiss and Canadian actress/model Shannon Tweed. Sophie, he has a three-year-old sister. He attended Pitzer College in Claremont, California, and graduated in 2011 with a degree in English Literature.

Career

Simmons is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and is best known as a member of A&E's reality television series Gene Simmons Family Jewels from 2006 to 2012. He has also done voice-over on Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken.

He moved into writing, most notable for comic books. He wrote a story for the Gene Simmons House of Horrors, the first issue of which was published in July 2007. Radical Comics Group released a special preview of Simmons' own comic book, Incarnate, at the San Diego Comic-Con International in July 2009. It was announced on August 1, 2009.

Simmons plagiarized character designs, fight scenes, plot segments, debate, poses, and expressions from many published manga, the most notable being Bleach and DeviantArt. Simmons denied the allegations by claiming that he hoped to portray the two works as an honor.

"We thank all our followers for alerting this matter, and we're now investigating this issue," Evelyn Dubocq, senior Director of Public Relations at Viz Media, the American publisher of Bleach, said. On February 25, 2010, the publisher of Incarnate, Radical Comics, announced on its official website that it would suspending production and production of Incarnate until the conflict was settled between all concerned parties. Incarnate's production has never recovered.

Simmons sang of "Hand of The King," a track from former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick's 2010 solo album BK3.

Simmons served as a writer for The Huffington Post in 2017. He appeared on the Comedy Central television show @Midnight's Thursday, March 9, 2017.
