Chief Dele Momodu (born Ayòbámidélé Àbáyòmí Ojútelégàn Àjàní Momodu; 16 May 1960) is a Nigerian journalist/publisher, businessman, and motivational speaker.
He is the CEO and publisher of Ovation International, a magazine that has given publicity to people from all over the world, mainly in Africa.

Education and career
Momodu, a 1981 graduate of University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife), holds a degree in Yoruba and a master's degree in English Literature (1988). He taught at the Oyo State College of Arts and Science in Ile-Ife from 1982 to 1983, during his National Service. He served as private secretary to Ondo State Chief Akin Omoboriowo from 1983 to 1985. Momodu, Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, the monarch's representative, was in charge of the Motel Royal Limited, owned by the monarch in 1986. Following Momodu's departure from the Motel Royal, he continued to study for his post-graduate degree in English literature. He was contributing articles to The Guardian, Sunday Tribune, and other Nigerian-based journals during this period. Dele's honorary doctorate degree (PhD) from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Ghana, was conferred the title "Doctor of Humanities Letters" on July 30, 2016.
Dele Momodu started writing for African Concord magazine, which was owned by Moshood Kashimawo Abiola in May 1988. Momodu was relocated from Weekend Concord as a pioneer staff a year ago. In March 1989, he wrote the first newspaper cover story. He has also contributed to other magazines, including the National Concord, Business Concord, and the Yoruba newspaper Isokan. He began his literary editor in May 1989 and became the Weekend Editor in less than six months. He edited May Ellen Ezekiel's Classique, a celebrity newspaper in Nigeria, from May 1990 to September 1991, making him Nigeria's highest paid editor. Moshood Abiola, a bread distributor who belonged to "Wonderloaf," resigned and tried his hand at doing business as a bread distributor. Following this, Momodu formed Celebrities-Goodwill Limited, which was responsible for Moshood Abiola, Mike Adenuga, and Hakeel Belo-Osagie's accounts.
Political career
During the 2011 presidential election cycle in Nigeria, Dele Momodu officially stated his intention to run for the presidency of the federal republic of Nigeria under the Labour Party. However, Labour Party's leadership will fall out of the presidential race and he will run against the National Conscience Party's platform, losing to Goodluck Jonathan in the general elections. He would later refer to this presidential election as having been born out of indignation.
Momodu declared in February 2022 that he intended to run for president of Nigeria on the platform of the People's Democratic Party, the People's Democratic Party's main opposition party.
