Hoflin was born in Stockholm, Sweden
In 2008, Hoflin began a relationship with his Neighbours co-star Natalie Blair. The pair now reside in Los Angeles together. Fiona Byrne of the Herald Sun announced that the couple were engaged on March 10, 2012. They married in Warburton, Victoria, on January 4th, 2013. On July 29, 2016, Blair and Hoflin welcomed their first child, a son.
Career
He has appeared on television shows including Ocean Girl, The Flying Doctors, Head Start, A Country Work, McLeod's Daughters, Supernatural, State Coroner, and The Lost World.
Hoflin was ten when he appeared in Evil Angels, a film about the tragic case in which a dingo robbed baby Azaria Chamberlain from her tent at Ayers Rock (released as A Cry in the Dark outside of Australia and New Zealand).
He played Kieran, a booze-intoxicated man who had been heavy at a rave and then passed out and neglecting his younger sister, who was later beaten by Lewis in the Australian medical drama All Saints.
He was one of the main male characters in Ocean Girl. One of the series's central plots is the chemistry of his personality and that of Marzena Godecki's character, Neri.
Hoflin was hired as Oliver Barnes by Neighbours in 2007. After Christian Clark resigned with immediate effect, he was left without auditioning. On May 6, 2008, he shot his last scenes as fellow cast member Daniel O'Connor. Hoflin returned to Neighbours in April 2011 for a two-week guest stint.
Hoflin appeared in Alcatraz in 2012.
