Daniel Scott Brown (born May 15, 1990) is an American vlogger and debate host under the name Pogobat on YouTube.
Brown has been recognized in the media for his latest and widely circulated videos, mainly on how-to videos as well as current events discussion and comedies. Brown is also the creator of the Pogopalooza, the annual world championship of stunt pogo, which he founded at the age of 14.
Dan left the project for personal reasons on April 1, 2011 and joined "Delicious Steak" on vlog/news, which premiered from July 12, 2011 – May 6, 2012.
Dan released a video titled "The Last Episode Of Delicious Steak," in which he said that he no longer committed to a "show" but rather making videos as a hobby. Since May 2012, he has refocused his video style on current affairs and political or moral issues, using his celebrity to spark and participate in discussions, which include topics such as gun control, healthcare, opioid policy, same-sex marriage, and online media.
The reaction to this change has been encouraging.
Dan took an indefinite break from Pogobat in May 2016 to concentrate on education and other career fields.
He currently works for XPogo.
