Crystal Marie Reed (born February 6, 1985) is an American actress and model.
Allison Argent (2011–2014; 2016), and Sofia Falcone on Gotham (2017–2018), she is best known for her appearances in the series Teen Wolf (2011–2014).
Reed has appeared in the films Skyline (2010) and Crush (2013), as well as a in the series Swamp Thing (2019).
Early life and education
Reed was born and raised in Detroit, to Polish and Native American parents. Corey is her older brother. Reed was raised in a conservative Catholic household, but she has also stated that she attended a Baptist church and did not enjoy it. "I absolutely hated it and I knew that I would never fit in," Reed said.
In 2003, she graduated from Roseville High School. Reed began studying dance at an early age and was a dance captain in high school. She was a member of her local community theatre and appeared in Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and Grease. She attended Wayne State University and was a member of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, but she left the program when she doubted that it was the right choice for her. "I auditioned for the prestigious BFA conservatory program," she said. "They were really specific about the ways we did it," the artist said, and I began to wonder if or not it was the right place for me and whether or not [one] really needed a degree to be an artist." She migrated to Chicago and appeared in a variety of local productions. She moved to Hollywood in December 2008 to pursue a film career.
Personal life
Daniel Sharman, her Teen Wolf co-star, was in a relationship from February 2012 to June 2013. Reed's first dating television host, Darren McMullen, was born in July 2013. In early 2019, McMullen and Reed broke up.
Reed argued that she moved out of her hometown because it was "completely small-minded and not accepting of things that I wasn't accepting." Leading up to the 2016 US presidential election, Reed campaigned for Hillary Clinton.

She appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: New York, Rizzoli & Isles, and RJ Berger's Hard Times in 2010.

Reed wanted to move forward from the show, do different things, and investigate other areas of filmmaking before the third season of Teen Wolf. She met with Jeff Davis, the show's executive producer who supported her decision. Reed debuted in March 2014 as a result of Allison Argent's death at the end of Season 3. Reed also stated that her desire to leave the show had to do with the difference in age and her character. Reed, 29, was a teenager who was 17 years old at the start of season three. Marie-Jeanne Valet, the first Argent werewolf hunter, appeared in "The Maid of Gévaudan" on February 23, 2016. Reed said she would like to be a part of a Teen Wolf revival or spin-off.
