Career
Prosperi was born in Toronto and debuted on television when she was three years old in an Unco advertisement. She began her acting career in 2007's Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming and Your Beautiful Cul de Sac Home. In 2009, she appeared on Family Channel's comedy show The Last Buzz.
Prosperi was first introduced Imogen Moreno on the long-running television teen drama Degrassi in 2011, a role she played during the show's 11th season. She appeared on Degrassi until the show's conclusion in 2015, which was her 14th season on the program. She received the Best Achievement in a TV Series at Young Artist Awards in 2012, and she attracted a following in the LGBT community.
