She is best known for her appearances on television, including Lulu on Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP, and Kelly Peckinpaugh on Nickelodeon's Epic Adventures.
Early life
Argota was born in Redlands, California, to Filipino parents. She attended Connections Academy, an online virtual high school. She began her career as a contestant on CBS's Arsenio Hall-hosted Star Search.

Career
Argota's first acting role was in the 2007 independent film Schooled. Argota was cast on Nickelodeon's comedy television series True Jackson, VP, starring Lulu, one of True Jackson's closest friends (Keke Palmer). Argota has released two independent albums Dreams Come True (2006) and Ashley (2007) as a singer.
In another Nickelodeon comedy series Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Argota was cast as the female lead, Kelly. Nickelodeon had cancelled Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures on July 5, 2012. She appeared in a Nickelodeon celebrity episode of BrainSurge, during which she lost in a Sudden Death round to Jerry Trainor. She appeared with other Nickelodeon stars in 2011 and gained. Argota planned to attend New York University in 2011, majoring in nursing.
