Claudio Bisio (Italian pronunciation: [klaudjo bizjo]; born 19 March 1957) is an Italian actor, producer, comedian, and writer.

Early life

Bisio was born in Novi Ligure, Piedmont, and raised in Milan, Lombardy. Luigi Cremona of Milan graduated from the Drama School of Piccolo Teatro de Milan.

Personal life

Bisio is married to Sandra Bonzi. Alice and Federico are two of his children.

He is an atheist.

Claudio Bisio Career

Career

Bisio began his career as a theatre actor starring classical and modern drama; he began his film career in 1983 with Come dire... (How to say). Zanzibar, an Italian television show, was his first major television appearance on television in 1998. He has been the host of Zelig, an Italian sketch comedy, for 13 years (in 1997 and 2012).

He appeared in Ex in 2009 and was named Best Supporter by David di Donatello. He was the protagonist of Benvenuti al Sud (Males vs. Females) and Maschi in 2011, and Femmine contro maschi (Females vs Males) in 2010.

Bisio is the voice of Sid (one of the film's protagonists). In the Italian version of Hotel Transylvania, he is also the voice of Count Dracula.

In the summer of 2014, he has confirmed that he will be part of Italia's Got Talent jury for its sixth series, which premiered in 2015 by pay-TV Sky Uno.
