Christopher Eigeman (born March 1, 1965) is an American actor and film producer. Eigeman is best known for his roles in Whit Stillman's films Metropolitan, Barcelona, and The Last Days of Disco.

Personal life

In 1965, Eigeman was born in Denver, Colorado. He attended The Putney School, Putney, Vermont, from 1979 to 1983, and graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre in 1987. Since 1993, he has been married to Linda D. Eigeman. They have a son who was born in 2008.

Eigeman has appeared in theatrical films, including Kicking and Screaming (1995), Mr. Jealousy (1997), Maid in Manhattan (1996), The Treatment (2006).

Eigeman has appeared in television shows including It's Like, You Know..., Gilmore Girls, Malcolm in the Middle, and Girls.

In 1992, Eigeman shot a pilot for an American version of the British cult sci-fi television show Red Dwarf, starring Arnold Rimmer; however, the program was not picked up as a series. He appeared in a series of television commercials for Pacific Bell during the 1990s, showcasing his sarcastic, straight-ahead delivery. Given the circumstances, Eigeman wore a dark suit and tie in these locations.
