Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, born 28 January 1993), better known by his stage name Chike, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who appeared on Project Fame West Africa in 2015 and then as runner-up in the talent competition The Voice Nigeria in 2016.

Chike is Nigeria's ambassador for Airtel Nigeria.

On the Africa Magic Showcase telenovela Battleground, Chike made his acting debut as Mayowa Badmus.

Early life and education

Chike is a native of Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, and he is one of four children. Chike's decision to pursue a career in music was influenced by his family. He obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University.

Chike was selected as a contestant on Project Fame West Africa, but after reaching the top 10, he was voted out.

Chike applied for The Voice Nigeria with a photo of James Arthur's "Roses" and decided to join Team Patoranking.

He performed Mario's "Let Me Love You" with another Team Patoranking contestant and was chosen to advance to the next round. He performed "Not the Girl" by co-coaching Dare Art Alade, and earned a'save' from his coach in the first week of live shows. He appeared on "Earned It" on the second week of live broadcasts and was saved by public votes. He also performed a version of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers, earning his coach's last save of the season. He played "Pullover" by Kcee and Wizkid in the semi-finals. Chike performed covers of Bob Marley and the Wailers' "No Woman No Cry" and Kiss Daniel's "Mama." He finished as the runner-up of The Voice Nigeria's season, with A'rese from Team Waje taking first place.

Chike was signed to Universal Republic with the other top four contestants on the show after The Voice Nigeria. He debuted his debut single Fancy U in December 2016, under the Universal Republic's control, with a music video releasing in early 2017. Along with the other seven finalists of The Voice Nigeria, Chike was also appointed an ambassador for Airtel Nigeria.

Chike had been cast by Africa Magic in Mayowa Badmus' role in a television drama called Battleground in April 2017. Chike debuted from Universal Republic in November 2017 and became an independent artist. In February 2018, he unveiled his new single, "Beautiful People."

2020

Boo of the Booless, Chike's 14-track album, was released.' During his special guest appearance on the 2020 Big Brother Lockdown tv show, he talked about him.

2022

Chike sold his car in August for his newly released album and advise fans not to pay attention when they see him cruising.
