Music career

Brianna Perry made her first recording at the Poe Boy Music Group studios at the age of 7. Trina and Trick Daddy, the rappers who would give Perry a recording contract with Diva Records, will be a hit on the studio, with her regular visits to the studio (Diva Enterprises/DP Entertainment). Perry guest appeared on BET's Rap City and made her rapping debut on Trina's Diamond Princess, "Kandi," which would pique Missy Elliott's interest. Elliott will continue to sign Perry to her firm The Goldmind Inc., and she and Timbaland will appear together in various promotional concerts. In addition, Perry will appear in a few of Elliott's films, such as the music video to "Pass That Dutch" and her short-lived reality show The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott. Perry would work on an untitled debut album that briefly featured forty tracks and solely from Elliott and Timbaland; however, the project was never announced. Perry Perry was fired by Elliott on good terms in 2006 due to technological disruptions.

Perry performed a mixtape, Princess of Miami, with Slip-N-Slide recording affiliates and former mentor Missy Elliott. Perry announced work on a debut album tentatively named Girl Talk, as well as a film project with Malcolm in the Middle East actor Frankie Muniz, but no details were revealed. Perry was shuffled to Flo Rida's International Music Group, where she released a mixtape named The Graduation and an underground single titled "Boom Shacka" in 2009 that was later removed from commercial release.
