He also got called out for being dismissed of the abusive culture in the restaurant industry because he said only the 'bad boys get the press' before saying 'none' of his male friends 'are like that.' In an Instagram apology, he said he it 'wasn't my intention to be insensitive or dismissive of the experiences of those who have been affected by sexual misconduct.' Tsai gained fame after appearing on Iron Chef in 2005, where he challenged Bobby Flay and won.
