Bobby Dixon or Ali Muhammed (born April 10, 1983), is an American-born, naturalized Turkish professional basketball player who plays for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL).

He also represents the senior Turkish national basketball team. He holds Turkish citizenship since 2015, under name of Ali Muhammed.

Bobby Dixon Career

College career

Dixon played college basketball at Troy University after graduating from Chicago's Sullivan High School. He appeared in 59 games, averaging 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game in his two-year with the Trojans. He was also selected to the 2005-06 All-Sun Belt Conference First Team.

Professional career

Dixon started his career in France with Saint-Étienne Basket. He began a contract with the French League team Gravelines in May 2007 before the season's end. He signed a Polpak wiecie of the Polish Basketball League in the summer of 2007. He was a leader in the 2007-08 Polish League, averaging 5.1 per game. He signed an Italian League team, Pallacanestro Treviso, in the summer of 2008. He returned to France in February 2009, signing by Le Mans Sarthe Basket. In the summer of 2009, he signed a deal with ASVEL Basket, France's national team. He migrated to Italy in 2010 and was signed by Pallacanestro Treviso once more. He signed a new basket brindisi team in the summer of 2010. He signed a deal with Dijon Basket, France's national team, in the summer of 2011.

Dixon signed a deal with Karşyaka of the Turkish League in July 2012. In the Turkish Cup final game against Anadolu Efes S.K. on February 9, 2014, he was named MVP with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. In 2014, he was also instrumental in assisting them in the Turkish President's Cup win over Fenerbahçe. In the 2014–15 EuroCup season, he was selected to the All-EuroCup Second Team. He won the Turkish League championship with Karşyaka on June 19, 2015 after defeating Anadolu Efes by a score of 4–1 in the Turkish League Finals. Dixon was named the Turkish League Finals MVP.

Dixon signed a two-year deal with Fenerbahce on July 21, 2015. He had a 23 point, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists against Beşiktaş, his first triple double in the team, on March 28, 2016. After Mark Dickel's record of 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists against Galatay in the 2002–03 season, he was the third in Fenerbahce history; and, after Emir Preldy had ten points, 15 rebounds, and ten assists against Olin Edirne in the 2010–11 season.

Fenerbahçe made it to the 2018 EuroLeague Final Four for the fourth time in a row. In the final game, they lost by 80–85. In an increased playing time over the past season, he averaged 7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in over 20 EuroLeague games.

In April 2019, he agreed to a new two-year deal with Fenerbahçe, and he will continue with the club until the end of 2020-21 season. Dixon resigned from the team on September 14, 2021.

He resigned from professional basketball and joined Fenerbahçe Beko as a Youth Coach on October 14, 2021.
