Bill Kelliher (born March 23, 1971) is a musician from Atlanta, Georgia, best known as rhythm guitarist of heavy metal band Mastodon.
He is a native of Victor, New York.
Early life
Kelliher is an Irish citizen, he holds dual citizenship with the United States and Ireland. His father is an Irish immigrant who, in his teenage years, moved to the U.S. from Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland.

Career
Within Mastodon, Kelliher appears in a variety of roles. These include backing vocals during live performances, intricate guitar parts, and occasional lead guitars. In addition to and during songs, he's also running the samples and ambiance. Kelliher performs guitar with Brent Hinds, mainly complex rhythm sections, but he does appear solos on "Sleeping Giant" and harmonized dual leads with Hinds, such as "Black Tongue."
Hinds and Kelliher received the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best shredders on June 12, 2007, Mastodon's first ever award. In 2018, Mastodon received a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song "Sultan's Curse."
On season 5, episode 8 of Game of Thrones, Kelliher, Brann Dailor, and Brent Hinds were portrayed "wildlings."
