Beverly Archer (born July 19, 1948) is an American actress who is perhaps best known for her television appearances as Iola Boylen on Mama's Families and as Gunnery Sgt.

Alva Bricker on Major Dad appeared in other publications, including The Young and the Restless, ALF, and the film Project ALF, as well as other guest appearances.

She also wrote three ALF episodes.

In The Brady Bunch Movie, she played a thieving instructor who was spotted by Bobby Brady.

Miss Hardaway, a sexually arrested librarian and abstinence counselor who is in love with Bud, appeared in two episodes of Married... with Children.

In addition, she appeared in a 1994 episode of Full House, in which she played the role of an uncomprehensible SAT test monitor.

She appeared on episodes of Grace Under Fire, Family Ties, and The Fall Guy.

In The Nancy Walker Exhibition, she portrayed Nancy Walker's daughter.

Archer wrote episodes for both Mama's Family and ALF, as well as acting.
