Personal life
In Goa on October 14, Hassanandani married corporate executive Rohit Reddy. In an Instagram video starring Reddy and herself, she announced her pregnancy on October 10, 2020. On February 19, 2021, the couple had their first child, a boy. They referred to their son as Aaravv Reddy.
Anita was dating Eijaz Khan, who she first encountered at the set of a popular TV series Kavyanjali, before meeting Rohit. After finding out that he was cheating on her with Canadian singer Natalie De Luccio, Anita left Eijaz in 2010.
Career
Hassanandani made her television debut with Idhar Udhar Season 2. Varushamellam Vasantham made her film debut in Telugu with Nuvvu Nenu in 2001 Tamil Nazaru, although Samurai made her debut in 2001, although Varushamellam Vasantham appeared first. Kucch To Hai, her first Hindi film appearance, made her Hindi debut. She worked in the films Krishna Cottage, a supernatural thriller; and Koi Aap Sa. She appeared on television show Kavyanjali, playing Anjali, a middle-class girl marrying into a business tycoon's family. She has appeared in many South Indian films, including Nenu Pelliki Ready, Thotti Gang, Ragada, as Bank Employee, and Nuvvu Nenu, which later was remade as Yeh Dil in Hindi with Tusshar Kapoor, beyond her mainstream Bollywood film and television screen roles. Nenunnanu, a Telugu film, had her appear in a song. She appeared in the Kannada blockbuster film Veera Kannadiga, opposite Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.
