Angélica Aragón Life

Angélica Stransky (born 11 July 1953), also known as Angélica Aragón [Spanish pronunciation: [axelika aon]), is a Mexican film, television, and stage actress and singer. She is the niece of Mexican composer José ngel Espinoza "Ferrusquilla." She has been recognized for her appearances in films including Cilantro y perejil (1997), Sexo, pudor y lágrimas (1999) and El crimen del Padre Amaro (2004), as well as other American films, such as A Walk in the Clouds (1995) and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (2002). She is also known for her appearance in two famous Mexican telenovelas, Vivir un poco (1985) and Mirada de mujer (1997).

Early life

Angelica Espinoza Stransky, the elder daughter of Mexican actor and composer José ngel Espinoza "Ferrusquilla" and Sonia Stransky, is the elder daughter of the Mexican actor and composer José ngel Espinoza "Ferrusquilla" and Sonia Stransky. Vindia, a younger sister who died in 2008, was a schoolgirl. Jacqueline and John, both on her mother's side, have two half-siblings. Her maternal grandfather, who was of Czech descent, served in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and served in WWI. Sonia Chávez's mother was the secretary of artist Carlos Chávez. When Angelica was three years old, her parents divorced. She spent her childhood with her father on television and film forums. Angelica lived in a house in Colonia del Valle of Mexico City with her mother and sister, often with her father.

Aragón wanted to study medicine. She attended the Liceo Franco-Mexicocano in Mexico City, where she met Spanish actor Juan Ribó. Aragón joined the Teatro de la Patrianza in Mexico City, led by Ribó, who was focusing on Federico Garca Lorca's performances at the Teatro de la Libera. She appeared in a play by director Antonio Pasi in Guanajuato in 1970. She played a small role in the telenovela El amor tiene cara de mujer, which was produced by Televisa and directed by German director Fernando Wagner, with the help of her father. Aragón met actor, director, and playwright Alejandro Jodorowsky, who appeared in the film La monta sagrada (1973), thanks to Juan Ribó. Fredesvinda Aragón, her paternal grandmother who died in childbirth at the age of 19, was Aragón's artistic surname.

Aragón was forced to emigrate to the United Kingdom as a result of a strike at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. For seven years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, she studied theatre, dance, and pantomime (LAMDA). She also attended courses at the London School of Contemporary Dance later in life. Aragón did other London jobs in parallel to her theatrical work. She was a cook, worked in a hospital, and sold children's clothing at Harrods. She also enrolled at the University of London, where she studied Indian philosophy, history, and languages. Aragón can speak seven languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Bengali, Bengali, and Japanese. Aragón served as a bedroom dresser at London's National Theatre for five years.

With her then-husband Shajid, Aragón and her family went to India. Aragón was accepted into Kerala Kalamandalam, one of South India's most prestigious ritual dance schools, on the recommendation of a professor at the School of Contemporary Dance in London. Despite the fact that this academy only accepted male students, Aragón was able to receive instruction outside of the institution's classrooms. Aragón was in India and seen many of the Kathakali theater's productions as well as several performances.

Aragón, a Mexican immigrant, joined Televisa's Mexican telenovelas, and was introduced to Greece by Greek filmmaker Dimitrio Sarrós. She began with a small role in Sandra y Paulina (1980), in which Jacqueline Andere appears. With Angélica Mara, she appeared in the telenovela El hogar que robé in 1981. She appeared in the telenovela Vanessa in 1982 as the female antagonist, as well as Luca Méndez. She co-starred with Lucero in the famous children's telenovela Chispita in 1983. She made two more telenovelas in 1984: La fiera, alongside Victoria Ruffo, and Principessa, a telenovela that ended shortly after she was given her first leading role.

Valentn Pimstein, the first Mexican telenovela La madrastra, first Mexican translation of the Chilean telenovela La madrastra, was given to Aragón by writer Arturo Moya Grau in 1985. Andrea, a woman who was wrongfully accused of murder and sentenced to twenty years in Argentina, was born in this telenovela. The telenovela had a large fanbase, and it gave Aragón one of her career's most notable performances.

Carlos Téllez, a producer and director who conceived Aragón in 1986, offered Aragón the lead in the hit telenovela Cuna de lobos, but she turned down the offer and was replaced by Diana Bracho. In La casa al final de la calle, a suspense and mystery telenovela co-starring Héctor Bonilla and Leticia Calderón, Aragón's increasing presence in films prompted her not to return to television until 1989. Juan Osorio produced the telenovela, while Jorge Fons directed it.

Aragón appeared in the 1990s debacle D'as sin luna deafri with Sergio Goyri, where she interpreted a painter with a terminal illness. Edith González and Gonzalo Vega also appeared in En carne propia, directed by Carlos Téllez, featuring Edith González and Gonzalo Vega.

In 1992, Aragón was invited to act as the director of dialogue in the telenovela Madres egogostas, directed by Juan Osorio. In the telenovela De frente al sol, produced by Carla Estrada, she starred with actor Mara Sorté. The telenovela was so popular that Más allá del puente, a 1993 sequel, was released.

Aragón appeared in the telenovela Caaveral de pasiones, produced by Humberto Zurita and Christian Bach, and starring Daniela Castro and Juan Soler in 1996. Aragón was given the first opportunity to direct in television as a guest scene director in this telenovela. This will be Aragón's last telenovela to date. Televisa's Aragón will be the last telenovela to be performed to date.

In 1997, Argos Comunicación, a Spanish version of Bernardo Romero Pereiro's Colombian novel Seora Isabel, gave Aragón the lead role in the telenovela Mirada de mujer, a Mexican adaptation of Bernardo Romero Pereiro's Colombian novel Seora Isabel. TV Azteca made the telenovela. Mara Inés Domnguez, a mature woman in love with a younger man, was the most popular television actress in Mexico in a telenovela that defies modern stereotypes. Ari Telch, Fernando Luján, Margarita Gralia, Evangelina Elizondo, and a large cast of supporting characters appeared in Aragón.

Aragón made only brief television appearances after the success of Mirada de mujer, reuniting in 2000 in the telenovela La madre, a Mexican spin on the Colombian telenovela La madre. Mirada de mujer, el regreso, was back on television in 2003 for the sequel to Mirada de mujer. Despite the fact that the telenovela had a large audience, it did not exceed the first's success. Aragón appeared in her last television appearance in the miniseries Ni una vez más in 2005 about violence against women. Lo que Callamos mujeres, she also produced some episodes of the TV Azteca program Lo que como ya. Aragón's Anatomy, the Mexican version of the American series Gray's Anatomy, did not return to television until 2011.

In 1984, Aragón made her debut in films in The Evil That Men Do with Charles Bronson, produced by Pancho Kohner (son of Mexican actress Lupita Tovar) and J. Lee Thompson. This was followed by three other Hollywood films: Toy Soldiers (1984), starring Jason Miller and Tim Robbins; Samson and Delilah (1984), starring Max von Sydow and Victor Mature; and Dune (1984), directed by David Lynch, among others; and Dune (1984), by David Lynch, singer Sting. Aragón had to decline actor and director Robert Redford's invitation to co-star with him in the film The Milagro Beanfield War due to his participation in a Mexican telenovela. Sonia Braga, a Brazilian actress, was cast in her role.

Aragón's debut in 1986 in the film Los dos frailes, right behind Fernando and Mario Almada. With Keanu Reeves and Anthony Quinn, Aragón appeared in the success film A Walk in the Clouds, directed by Alfonso Aráu in 1995. Demián Bichir and Arcelia Ramrez directed Rafael Montero's second Silver Ariel Award as best supporting actress in the film Cilantro y perejil, her second Silver Ariel Award in the same year. She appeared in Benjamin Cann's film Crónica de un desayuno and Antonio Serrano's hit Sexo pudor y lágrimas.

In the film Picking Up the Pieces, Aragón worked with Alfonso Arau in 2000. Aragón also served as an assistant director in this film, having the opportunity to work with actors including Woody Allen, Kiefer Sutherland, and Sharon Stone. She appeared in Carlos Carrera El crimen del Padre Amaro's controversial and lucrative film in 2002, where she received her third Silver Ariel Award of her cinematographic career. Aragón appeared in the Hellenic Theater of Mexico City's monologue Maquillaje (Kesho), directed by Japanese author Hisashi Inoue, which celebrated 100 years of Japanese emigration to Mexico. In the performance, Aragón portrayed all the male characters on stage in a special manner to traditional Kabuki theater in Nakamura Kankuryv's. Wendell Cordz was in charge of the editing, which was a major theatrical success for Aragón.

Aragón released Silencio corazón in 1997, with the intention of saving her father's compositions, José ngel Espinoza or "Ferrusquilla," after having received artistic education in the United Kingdom that included music. The album was produced on own. Échame a mi culpa: vida y canciones de "Ferrusquilla," a musical of her father's childhood, was released in 2009. Roberto D'Amico, an actor, was assisting in this regard. Aragón released México: mi palabra más bella, a collection of Mexican independence's bicentennial. Aragón released Su Majestad, El Bolero, a tribute to the bolero style, in 2013. At the Lunario del National Auditorium, the disc was first published.

Theater workshops have been held in various parts of Mexico. Lectura en voz alta, a Mexican province that promotes reading among children and adults, has been active for many years.

Aragón has been a tenacious and active political activist both internationally and nationally. She has written out against female sexual assault, as well as the establishment and promotion of healthy working and socioeconomic conditions for women. She has signed a number of manifestos, as well as other literary, film, and both Mexican and international cultures.

When Aragón was 19 years old, she married Shajid, an Indian musician from Calcutta who appeared at a music festival in Mexico not long ago. Shajid is currently in charge of London's music department. She lived in India for a year; her union came shortly after. In 1989, when Aragón was filming Goitia: un dios si mismo in Zacatecas, she had an affair with a former acquaintance from her youth, historian Rodrigo Martinez. Mara, her only daughter, was born as a result of this marriage.

Personal life

Shajid, an Indian musician from Calcutta who appeared at a music festival in Mexico just 19 years old, married Aragón, an Indian musician from Calcutta who was attending a music festival in Mexico not long ago. Shajid is currently in charge of the National Theatre in London's music department. She lived in India for a year, but the marriage ended soon after. When Aragón was filming Goitia: un dios si si mismo in Zacatecas, she had an affair with a long friend from her youth, historian Rodrigo Martinez. Mara, her only daughter, was born as a result of this marriage.
