Amelia Holt Atwater-Rhodes (born April 16, 1984), also known as Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, is an American author of fantasy and young adult literature as well as a Language Arts/Literature instructor at Learning Prep School in West Newton, MA. She was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, and spent the majority of her life in Concord, Massachusetts.
In the Woods of the Night, her debut novel, was published in 1999, when she was fourteen years old.
Since her first year as a child, she has published a new young adult novel every year and has shifted from Sudbury to a nearby Massachusetts town.
Personal life
Atwater-Rhodes attended University of Massachusetts Amherst and later graduated magna cum lauded from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a double major in English and psychology. For her MAT, she attended Northeastern University.
