Pageant career
She did not place in the top 3 among nine other delegates in the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2004. Lena Ma. was the eventual winner of the pageant. She appeared on Fairchild's What's On TV show later in the city.
She appeared in the Miss China Toronto pageant in 2006 after losing in the Miss Chinese Toronto pageant. Despite being born in Toronto, she returned to Hong Kong to compete. She ranked in the top 21 of the Hong Kong group. She made the top 16 after going to camp for five days in Group C. She took the title on August 12, 2006, after filming with Seven in Korea.
