Adibah Noor binti Mohamed Omar, better known as Adibah Noor (born 3 September 1970), is a Malaysian singer, actress, master of ceremonies, voiceover, and ad performer.

She has been involved in show business since 1995, briefly appeared in films such as Session and Gubra, as well as in a handful of local musical theatre productions.

Early life and career

Adibah, a teacher who taught English as a second language and a National University of Malaysia undergraduate, was born in Kuala Lumpur. She appeared in Suara 90-an Nescafe, her first singing competition, where she took first place in 1994.

Career

Adibah's first album, "Terlalu Istimewa," was released in 2006. The album contained an eponymous song, a ballad, written in response to a 10-year-old girl's rape and gruesome murder in Johor Bahru in January 2004. The album received critical acclaim and six nominations for the 13th Anugerah Industri Muzik, as well as Best Ballad and Best Vocal in the 21st Anugerah Juara Lava Lavatory.

Adibah intends to host a mini concert titled 'Into The 3rd Decade' to be held in Kuala Lumpur on October 21 and 22. Adibah also served as a judge for a singing competition talent competition called Duo Star.

Adibah will debut her third full album Jiwa in March. The album, which features eight tracks, will include performances by Misha Omar, Anuar Zain, Amir Jahari, Nassier Wahab, Dina Nadzir, and Sam Innuendo among other artists.
