Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson did not take too kindly to some chirping from New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox and decided to cheap shot him in their Stanley Cup Playoff matchup. Towards the end of the first period, with New York on the power play, center Vincent Trocheck was able to score a goal that broke a tie to give the Rangers a 2-1 advantage. As he was skating to celebrate with his teammates, Fox looked in Wilson's direction. It's not clear if he said anything to his Washington counterpart, but regardless, Wilson took exception to something.
