Adam Baldwin (born February 27, 1962) is an American actor and voice actor.
He appeared in Full Metal Jacket (1987) as Animal Mother, as well as in the television series Firefly and its sequel film Serenity as Jayne Cobb.

Baldwin was born in Winnetka, Illinois, and attended New Trier Township High School East in Winnetka.

Career
Baldwin came to fame in a number of films since 1980, including Predator (1990), D.C. (1996), and Serenity (2005), in which he reprises his role as mercenary Jayne Cobb from the television series Firefly. (1989), Parts Donkey (1992), Predator (1990), Predator (1991).
He has written extensively for Radio Flyer (1992), From the Earth to the Moon (1996), The X-Files (Knowle Rohrer), The Cape, Men in Black (1998), The Poseidon Adventure, The Constructive X-Files (Knowle Rohrer), The Interior, NCIS, and the 2005 version of The Poseidon Adventure.
